Sit tight, a bigger bang is coming!

The scientist at CERN are plannig for a still larger particle collider to answer the questions which Albert was not able to resolve. It’s name will be International Linear Collider (ILC). ILC will be 31 miles long, comprising of two guns, which will accelerate positrons and other particle in near speed of light, before allowing them to collide. This experiement will help to gain much deeper knowledge on the orgin of gravity and universe. It will be another extra dose of ‘Recap Big Bang’.

Scientist around the world have spent 150 million Euro for the design of the new machine. The new machine was nicknamed ‘Einstein’s Telescope’. More than 10 million Euro came fromm Britain. More than 80 researchers from 80 nations gathered in Emmanuel College, Cambrige to discuss about this plan. The new machine is estimated to cost 4 billion Euro. LHC has the capacity to detect the “Boson” Particle. If it does so, many new questions will arise in advanced physics. Scientist believe that this new machine will help to resolve those questions. This machine is completely different from LHC. This experiement will emit X-Rays massively.

Trouble for Big Bang Recap experiment

A new trouble arouse for the scientists who were involved in Large Hardon Collider Experiement at CERN. The experiement is to study about the formation of the universe. But, a new trouble for it as two group of hackers has hacked the experiement. The experiement is a vital milestone for man’s knowledge. The hackers were reportedly mounting a attacks on LHC. Two hackers group, 2600 and 1337 as they are called were trying to hack the experiement even before the experiement has started. Infact, there is a competition between these two groups.

2600, also know as Greek Security Team broke into the experiement and left a message “We’re 2600, don’t mess with us”. Scientist also received threat emails from them from the very begining. But, they they’ve not done the real damage but they are very close. They have attacked the Compact Muon Solenoid Experiment or CMS. The Scientist were worried because they are one step away from hacking the Computer Control System of a huge detector and a magnetic detector. If they advance to the second network they can control the detectors easily. They’ve hacked the CMS System and now they can collect data during the collision.

This illustrates “Two sides of Science”.

Indian Contribution in Recap of ‘Big Bang’

Large Hardon Collider experiement has used significant contribution from India. First, Sathyendra Nath Bose. He and Eiensten first experiemented about the boson particles that is know to hold the atom. Boson particles have also been called ‘God Particles’. Scientist were not able describe about the power which bonded the exploded particles in a universe. Bose considered that Higg-Boson particles are responsible for this. This research by Eienstien and Bose created a new branch in Physics called Eienstien-Bose. This experiement is primarily based on the Boson Particles.

Out of 2000 scientist more than 200 were Indians. A part of construction of oval structure is made by Indian Scientist. India also spent some amount of money in it. They also took technical advise from Tata Institute of Fundamental Research and Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics. Two groups of scientist went there. The first group consist of scientist from Bhabbha Atomic Reseach Centre. The other group consist of scientist from various university and IIT’s in India.

It’s interesting to note that the panic has cooled very much!

Recreating the ‘Big Bang’

Scientist believe that universe was orginated 10 million years ago by the collision of two extremely powered and hot bodies. This theory was known as the ‘Big Bang Theory’. But, We still don’t know the exact incident behind this. 20 years before scientist all over the world started thinking of a reaction that could recreated a ‘Big Bang’ again inorder to study about the origin of the Universe. In 1994, CERN started building the world’s largest particle collider that can recreate ‘Big Bang’. It was known as Large Hardon Collider (LHC).

Scientist in CERN started this experiement yesterday. The initial experiement were successful. The experiement will go on for the next 14 days. There was a panic among the people that this experiement would mark the begining of the end of the world. Even I also was in a panic. The scientist received death threat through email also. Many environmentalist also were against this experiement. But, the 2000 scientist rejected it and started conducting their experiements yesterday.

Former President of India, Mr. APJ. Abdul Kalam also confirmed that there is nothing dangerous behind this experiement. 200 out of 2000 scientist crew there were Indians. There is also some technical transfer from India for this experiement. It has costed 10 billion USD. It is the most costliest experiement in the world. The 27 Km underground path near French-Swiss border is the world’s largest laboratory. It is the world’s most powerful nuclear reaction in which protons which can circle the 27 Km path 11,000 times in just one second colloid with each other.

This experiement would not have been conducted now if we have not produced aSatyendra Nath Bose from our country!!!
